The February Nintendo Direct was released today and was pretty heavy on upcoming games. They managed to include a small section dedicated to indie titles coming to the Nintendo 3DS eShop, however, with some really nice footage of the games and brief interviews with the developers.

The section started off with Jools Watsham from Renegade kid, who was showed off two games. He revealed that Treasurenauts is both single player and co-op. Moon Chronicles was also on display, which the host called the first-ever FPS on the 3DS.

Other games shown off were Shovel Knight by Yacht Club Games, Vblank's Retro City Rampage, and 1001 Spikes by Nicalis, which promises to be "killer" in more ways than one. The footage starts starts at 24:10 in the broadcast, which we've included below.
