I'm not ashamed to admit that the original Waves is, indeed and by far, my favourite dual-stick arena shooter of all time, whereas DRM is my pick when it comes to single-stick arena shooting. Now, though all seems quiet on the DRM front, Squid In A Box is trying to kickstart Waves: Arena Tactics; the promising sequel to Waves. The game seems to have already progressed quite a bit and some truly intriguing ideas have been implemented, but the dev needs our support to actually finish the thing and add new graphics, a soundtrack, five (!) single-player modes and seven multiplayer ones (including co-op), more enemies, more upgrades and more of everything.
