I go weak at the knees when it comes to anything that pays tribute to Mega Man these days, and Shogo Suzuki's UsagiMan is no different. Designed specifically for touch devices, the game features simple tap controls for moving our rabbit-costumed hero from one room to another. Each time you tap at the screen, UsagiMan will launch a wire at that spot and pulls himself towards it. With some practice, you could even utilize the wire repeatedly and keep him off the ground whenever the situation calls for it.
Tapping on enemies will cause UsagiMan to shoot at them, and you can also execute a melee attack while they continue to stay frozen after being targeted. Special weapons acquired from defeating bosses are added to your arsenal automatically, and you can use them as often as you want until their charges run out.
UsagiMan is available as a free download from both the App Store and Google Play. Though the game is ad-supported, there are no iAPs to be found anywhere (even if you need coins to unlock upgrades and new abilities for our hero). Once you've beaten all five campaign levels, there's a rank mode that can be attempted to earn a spot in the Game Center rankings.
