Qubit Games, which developed Tokyo Game Show 2013 Sense of Wonder Night finalist SpaceQube, announced its next game at BitSummit. Although it will feature the same colorful voxel style as SpaceQube, Qubot is going to be an RPG in which you fight robots with robots.

In it, you play a boy who pilots customizable robots. New robot parts will drop off of enemies and can be switched out to change the robot's stats. You'll also be able to hire extra party members to help you out, giving them different robots to play with if you choose.

Qubot will also include the same voxel editing engine as SpaceQube, allowing people to create custom robot parts that look like whatever they want. It's currently slated for a winter release on iOS, Androids, and Windows Phones.
