After the success of Icarus Proudbottom Teaches Typing, Holy Wow Studios has created a sequel. Icarus Proudbottom's World of Typing Weekly is a 5-part series with the next installment due on March 27th, and they've made a number of improvements including support for non-US keyboards.

The first game was made for the Something Awful Game Dev Challenge VII under the theme "subversive edutainment" and made waves by making fun of common video game tropes and being generally hilarious. For Icarus Proudbottom's World of Typing Weekly, they haven't let up on the fun that made the first game special, but they have put it in the context of a murder mystery.

If I told you about the story, it would ruin it. Instead, I'll just point out that the game is free to play in your browser and suggest you try it. At the time of this writing, there are three episodes out with two more to go. Holy Wow plans to release a postmortem for both games alongside the final episode in April.
