Kenta Cho's latest, Cut Off Line Ameba, pits your ameba trimming skills to the test. You earn points while cutting off chunks of the green ameba, making sure that it doesn't collide with the red ameba.
You can wave the magic mouse-knife around frantically and pick up small points, but severing a large chunk of the green ameba will yield more points. Of course, the larger your ameba, the easier it is for the red ameba to run into it. Further, never having direct control over either ameba on the screen is part of the frustrating fun, I think.
Give it a few goes; it just might grow on you.
