Though losing ones enthusiasm for Kickstarter is entirely understandable, there have been more than enough projects to convince me that crowdfunding is still a good idea and even more projects that I'd love to see happen. One of these is none other than the Kickstarter for lovecraftian, horror, point-and-click adventure The Eldritch Cases: Dagon.
The game-to-be seems to be ticking all the right boxes. It already has some excellent music written for it by Jan Kavan, seems very atmospheric, obviously knows both its Lovecraft and its horror literature, sports two playable characters and will be available for Windows, Mac and Linux. Also, the asking price is more than sensible, as roughly $15 will guarantee you access to the completed game.
Higher tiers will provide you with the soundtrack, boxed versions and even the chance to appear as a NPC in the game itself.
