Adam Butcher was 14 years old when he started making Tobias and the Dark Sceptres in Multimedia Fusion. 13 years later, he's finally finished and released the puzzle-platformer, and what a lovely thing it is.
It's no wonder that the game took Adam so long to put together - each set of levels features a different type of puzzle, concept, battle etc, rather than copy/pasting the same idea over and over again. What's really interesting is how the game actually gets better the more you play, since Adam became better at game design over time.
And the game is free to download! So you can't really say no to that. Make sure you also watch this short video he made showing what he went through over the 13 years.
