Tess is a short 2D platformer that tells the story of Tess, a little girl who goes on an adventure to find her best friend Milly. Tess can shoot at any enemies that she encounters, causing them to drop white orbs for her to collect. Doing so rewards her with experience points, which in turn will increase the number of hearts she has and her ability to take more damage.
Players can restore Tess's health and save their progress at checkpoints. Should you be able to acquire other weapons, you can also switch between them by using the A and S keys. The game also features several secret areas to look out for, and they usually harbor more white orb canisters with plenty of experience points in them.
Besides English, Tess is also available to play in three other languages (French, Korean and Japanese). The download link for the game can be found at the 2014 Indie Game Maker Contest site.
