All the best games start as game jam prototypes: FACT. The Nightmare Cooperative started as a seven-day Roguelike Challenge game just four months ago, and is now getting a full-blown Steam release. That's a quick turnaround if I ever saw one!
If you've played 868-HACK, you're going to enjoy this latest Lucky Frame a fair bit. It's a turn-based roguelike in which you must grab as much gold as possible, and then get out alive. Two twists: You have multiple heroes, and they all move in the same directions at the same time. Oh, and when you open treasure chests, it spawns more enemies.
It's a balancing act between spawning too many enemies, and making sure to grab enough gold to top the online leaderboards, and I love it. You can check out the game on Steam.
