Since the last time IndieGames covered Elysian Shadows, a lot seems to have happened on the RPGing on everything from the OUYA to the Dreamcast front -- most crucially the Elysian Shadows Kickstarter campaign has been launched and now everyone can support this massive dream (and dream-like) project. Handily, the devs have made sure pledging feels natural, what with everything looking reassuringly professional and more exciting than ever as, impressive 2D engine aside, Elysian Shadows promises a huge gaming world, the complete and utter lack of decorative doors, a real time day/night system, a rich storyline and a gameplay experience that will build on its 2D RPG roots and enrich them with platforming and strategic bits.
The game will be released for Windows, Mac, Linux, OUYA, Sega Dreamcast, iOS and Android. Securing a release copy will set you back $15.
