catlateral.gifThe titles in today's trailer roundup are weighted towards the latter third of the alphabet, but features many kinds of mayhem, some science fiction, and a dash of puzzling.

Rogue Invader
Windows, Mac | $TBA | Q3 2015

Rogue Invader's developers are calling it the "world's first 1-bit game presented in pixel-perfect HD". Quite frankly, I find that discription ridiculous... but I also can't deny that as an artistic vision it has clearly panned out, making for a rougelite game with a unique look.

Windows | $12 | Available now

A first-person puzzle platformer that lets the player create new platforms of different kinds at will. Unlike most games of its type, it also has multiplayer.

Windows, Mac, Linux | $10 | Early access

A local multiplayer game about swinging from ropes and yanking your friends out of the air to their doom.

Windows, Mac, Linux | $TBA | Sometime 2015 | Greenlight | Demo

This is a gameplay demo video rather than a trailer, but you don't have to watch it for very long to see that the developer has created a brightly colored and incredibly creepy game of Red Light, Green Light... with things that shouldn't be moving in the first place.

Windows, Mac, Linux | $TBA | Release TBA

From the developer: "Switchcars is an action arcade [game] in which you frantically use vehicles to escape aliens over procedural environments. It features a bit over 1000 vehicles of nearly all kinds, all driveable."

Windows | $TBA | Mid 2015 | Greenlight

The trailer for this sci-fi point and click adventure game, formerly known as Epoch, gives away nothing but makes me want to learn more.

Windows, Mac, Linux | $TBA | June 2015 | Greenlight | Demo

A puzzle game that requires the player to rearrange triangles, stacking and unstacking them to line certain edges up in the right places.

You Must Build A Boat
Windows, Mac, Linux, iOS, Android | $3-5 | June 4, 2015

If you liked match-3 dungeon crawler 10000000, you might be excited about the upcoming release of its sequel, You Must Build A Boat. I know I am. From the developer: "It's got loads of cool new features, capturing monsters, building up your boat and adding new and exciting rooms, random and nonrandom dungeon modifiers that change how each run has to be be played."
