I remember playing an early build of The Joylancer: Legendary Motor Knight in March of last year. Back then, it had the muted grey-green look of old Game Boy games, complete with blocky, somewhat abstracted levels.
Things have changed a lot since then. The upcoming game from Alpha Six Productions is now a bright, colorful, and even more energetic action-platformer with a more developed setting, tons more enemies, and that awesome motor-drill-based combat that's as stylish and devastating as ever.
To celebrate Joylancer's incoming version 1.8 update, and its approaching launch, Alpha Six is running a sale on the work-in-progress, plus two experimental game compilations, including one of my favorite Alpha Six games, VIRALWIPEOUT.
