When voice acting by the Tom Baker, the definitive Doctor, is not the most important bit of an indie game, one has to admit to one's self that one has run into a fine game. A mighty fine game indeed, and Nelly Cootalot: The Fowl Fleet is exactly this: mighty fine and sporting the wonderful voice of Tom Baker.
What's more, it's a beautiful, ridiculously cute and laugh-out-loud funny point-and-click adventure about pirates, birds and Nelly; the pirate who just loves birds who hate to perish. A game of easy yet enjoyable puzzles, a few truly outrageous puns and well-thought pace. An adventure that will actually take you back to the glory days of Monkey Island and one I simply know adventurers will love.
Oh, and did you know that Nelly Cootalot: The Fowl Fleet is the sequel to brilliant AGS freebie Nelly Cootalot: Spoonbeaks Ahoy? Well, it is. And it's even lovelier too.
