Lieve_Oma_02.pngThe past two weeks have been busier than I anticipated and I've missed a couple of trailer roundups, but there have been no shortage of good trailers. Look for another trailer roundup in a couple of days.

Arcadian Atlas

There's more information available about isometric tactial RPG Arcadian Atlas now that their Kickstarter has begun. They have 19 days left to go and have raised over $40,000 of the $90,000 they're asking for.

Battlefleet Gothic: Leviathan
iOS | $TBA | Spring 2016

This game is to be a faithful digitization of the tabletop game Battlefleet Gothic, a spaceship war game from the makers of Warhammer 40k. Don't get Leviathan confused with Battlefleet Gothic: Armada, the RTS take on it.

Caasi's Odyssey
Windows, Linux | $TBA | Release TBA | Greenlight

The video on this one is a bit long because it's less a traditional trailer and more an explanation of how its unusual "physics based damage system" works. Its release date is as yet unannounced, but it's to be a roguelite.

Debrysis
Windows, Mac; future Linux | Free? | Available now | Greenlight

Debrysis was originally released in 2008, and after several years of dormancy the developer has picked the game back up and is developing it further. There's a version available now for free, but the developer hasn't stated whether or not the further developed Steam version, due out sometime this year, will be free or not. Update: the finished Steam version will have a price tag, but the price is as yet unannounced.

Dual Blast
iOS | Free | Available now

This is a local multiplayer game for two people on one iPhone or iPad. They have another video which shows the game in action on an actual phone.

KOI
PS4 | reg. $10 | Available today

From Chinese developer Oasis Games: "KOI is an adventure game in which the player takes control over a lone koi fish on a journey to return home.... Can you bring purity to a lotus pond, and in so doing, bring happiness and peace to your mind?"

Lieve Oma
Windows, Mac | $4 | Available now

From French developer Florian Veltman: "Lieve Oma is a top-down 3D game where you go for a stroll with your grandmother through a forest. You can pick mushrooms when you find them, but the real reason you're here is to have a discussion with your grandmother about the issues you encounter, coping with going to a new school, among other things." The game was released on Veltman's grandmother's birthday.

Potions: A Curious Tale
Windows, Mac, Linux | $15+ | April 2017 | Kickstarter

From developer Stumbling Cat: "Potions: A Curious Tale is an adventure-crafting game where your wits and ingenuity are your greatest weapons, and combat is not always the answer. Play as Luna, a young witch who overcomes obstacles with the potions she brews.... Potions is a reinvention of old adventure-puzzle games, such as Zelda, while making use of a resource-based combat system where you craft every spell you cast." This was one of the IGF entries that really caught my eye.

TurnOn
Windows, XB1 | $TBA | Spring 2016

This platformer eschews standard platforms in favor of electrical wires. Inspired by Earth Hour, the game casts the player as a spark of electricity tasked with restoring light to a blacked out city.

Wand Wars
Windows, Mac, Linux | reg. $12 | Available now

(Epilepsy warning, particularly from about 0:10 to 0:15)
From developer Moonradish: Wand Wars is "a magical sports game where you ride a broom over ancient arenas, cast arcane spells and turn your opponents into chickens."
