Citing inspirations such as The Twilight Zone and The X-Files, Asemblance is a first-person blend of reality-twisting sci-fi concepts and eerie horror. Guided by a helpful AI, you must escape a mysterious machine that can simulate memories. But exploring your past may dredge up long-buried thoughts and questions, or even have you questioning if the memories you're experiencing are your own.
From the dim industrial Asemblance Labs, you select memories from the waiting terminal to be simulated, entered, and explored, from an idyllic forest to your home. As you learn about yourself through those simulated memories, dark secrets and other enigmatic details begin to emerge. Choices throughout influence the ending, and documents, mysterious dialogue, and interacting with items found in the simulations can trigger events and reveal new details about Asemblance's plot.
While Asemblance is episodic, with more chapters slated in the future, each release is a self-contained narrative to uncover, akin to an anthology of distinct stories rather than a story divided into sections.
