You're stranded on an alien planet, trying to re-establish communications, and struggling to prevent death by hypothermia and starvation. What exactly led to your spaceship, a science vessel trying to find a new home for humankind after Earth's extinction, crashing here? And why can't you shake the feeling that you're not the only living creature on this supposedly uninhabited place? The Solus Project, a first person survival game, will answer all of those questions.
Exploration, crafting, and puzzle solving are perfectly fine, but the main attraction here is the planet itself. What a hauntingly beautiful place this is! Makes you almost forget about that whole hypothermia and starvation thing. It is as beautiful as it is deadly, and it just draws you in. Seeking shelter from a freaking tornado while torrents of rain poured down as if there was no tomorrow, accompanied by dramatic music and the full sonic wrath of this wild, otherworldly nature unleashed had me glued to the screen. Exploring eerie caves in the flickering light of my makeshift torch, not knowing what to expect, gave me some serious goosebumps. The Solus Project oozes atmosphere, and while there might be more pleasant places in this galaxy to go for a vacation, this particular trip is unforgettable.
