An mechanical octopus conductor, a mysterious train that represents the living world, and a bleak landscape made entirely in papercraft awaits you in Dark Train, an unconventional adventure game where you must figure everything out on your own.

Dark Train expects you to keep its locomotive running with little more than guesswork, tossing you to it and leaving you to figure out how its puzzles and mechanisms work. There are no attempts to help or guide you, letting you explore the train, the strange capsule worlds contained within each car, and the world around you as you see fit. And if you get stuck, you'll just need to keep plunking away at the puzzles. No one said train conducting would be easy for mechanical octopi.

While you're trying to figure it all out, you'll slowly unravel the game's story and explore a dark world made entirely of cut paper. Everything in this bleak world has been made with scissors and paper, taking the world of arts & crafts to its inevitable, soul-crushing conclusion. It's a special, brutal, dark, and impressive adventure game of machines and delicate paper.

Dark train is available for $14.99 on Steam. For more information on the game and developer Paperush Studio, you can head to the developer's site or follow them on Facebook, YouTube, and Twitter.
